Golden hour and beyond

Three ways to make a day feel distinctly Rincón.

01 · Thursday evening

Art Walk in the town plaza

Local art, crafts, music, and a lively community atmosphere. Arrive early because parking can tighten up, and verify that week’s schedule. It takes place on Thursday nights in the town plaza.

02 · Sunset

Punta Higüero Lighthouse

Go farther west

Choose Crash Boat Beach in Aguadilla, or continue to Cabo Rojo for the lighthouse, salt flats, and beaches. Verify waterfall access and road conditions before setting out.

Start with Crash Boat

Good to know

Let the island set the pace.

Hours, food-truck locations, surf, and road conditions can change. Confirm plans before heading out, especially on holidays or after heavy rain.

For swimming, use your judgment and check the water when you arrive. Calm-looking areas can still have currents, and Rincón’s surf breaks are not always suitable for casual swimming.
